Who We Serve

*WE SERVE THE SOF COMMUNITY*
"Humans Are More Important Than Hardware"
(One of the Five SOF Truths)

SOF are comprised of highly trained individuals in globally deployable units used in military actions focused on strategic or operational objectives.  They are specialized personnel with distinct attributes whose capabilities exceed those of standard conventional forces.

USSOCOM Recovery Care Coordination Sites

The USSOCOM Warrior Care Program headquarters are located in Tampa, FL, but the Recovery Care Coordinators (RCCs) and Liaisons (LNOs) operate in multiple locations around the globe.  These include major military treatment facilities and Department of Veterans Affairs Polytrauma Rehabilitation centers.  RCCs and LNOs often stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our warriors and families. Regardless of location, our services are available to the total force – active duty, reserve, and veterans and their families.

Population

The demands that 18 years of conflict have put on the SOF community, coupled with a retention rate of 62%, are why the USSOCOM Warrior Care Program (Care Coalition) has grown to be the largest in the DoD.
