Office of Communication Mission

The U.S. Special Operations Command Office of Communication provides trusted advice and counsel to the USSOCOM commander and other senior leaders related to press engagements, communication strategies, internal and external communications and outreach programs. The office creates public and internal information products to inform various audiences about the mission and activities of the command. There is also a staff that handles media or other external requests for information about the command. Lastly, the office engages in community relations to foster continued positive relationships within the Tampa Bay area.
