Master Chief Stephen White is a native of Texas and a 1989 graduate of Denton H.S. In July 1990, he enlisted in the Navy and attended boot camp at Naval Recruit Training Center, Orlando, FL. Upon completion of recruit training and Hospital Corpsman “A” school, Master Chief White entered the UDT/SEAL pipeline and successfully completed Basic Underwater
Demolition/SEAL Training, Class 177 in October 1991.
His previous duty stations include a tour of duty at

Development Group, Naval Special Warfare Group TWO Training Detachment, SEAL Team FOUR, Naval Special Warfare Advanced Training Command, SEAL Team TEN as the Operations Master Chief and Command Master Chief, Naval Special Warfare Group
TWO Operations SEL, Naval Special Warfare Command LNO to Commander USSOCOM at MacDill Air Force Base, the Naval Special Warfare Group THREE Command Master Chief and currently the Senior Enlisted Advisor of Special Operations Command Korea.
Military academic achievements include Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education; Joint Special Operations University Senior Enlisted Academy; and the Joint Special Operations Summit Course.
Master Chief White’s qualifications include Naval Special Warfare Dive Supervisor, Naval Special Warfare Independent Duty Corpsman, Open and Closed Circuit Diver, Small Arms Instructor, Range Officer In-Charge, 18 Delta Special Operations Medical Sergeants Course, Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic, Helicopter Rope Suspension Trainer, Static Line Jumpmaster, and Military Free Fall Jumpmaster.
His personal awards include Bronze Star (4) one with “V”, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (2), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy Achievement Medal (2), and the Combat Action Ribbon (2) as well as various campaign and unit commendations.
Master Chief White is married and has three children.
