  • Review USSOCOM's Capability Areas of Interest
  • Prepare your information/documentation, for submission on Vulcan (Only UNCLASSFIED information should be submitted)
  • You will be prompted to follow the step-by-step process outlined below.
Submission Process:
  1. Register for a Vulcan account.
  2. Your submission into Vulcan will be in the form of a ‘Scout Card’ and include information including but not limited to:
    • Description of your capability and what differentiates it
    • Technology Readiness Level
    • Technical specifications
    • Points of Contact
  3. You will be prompted to answer a series of questions, to determine the SOF relevance of your capability. Please answer the questions directly and concisely to allow our Subject Matter Experts to accurately assess your capability.
Examples of what you can submit include:
  • Visual illustrations
  • Video links
  • Attachments, according to the specifications provided to you in the submission form.
Examples of what you should not submit:
  • Marketing materials
  • Company background
  • Organization chart or staff biographies
  • Capabilities that are assessed NOT to address SOF interests or needs, will not proceed to the referral stage, within the Engage SOF process.
  • Materials including USSOCOM branding
The eSOF process involves a tiered assessment that aims to:
  • Determine SOF relevance
  • If SOF-relevant, explore additional pathways for further assessment, experimentation, or other engagement activities ​(See the eSOF tiered process)
  • If not SOF-relevant, you will not proceed to the referral stage of eSOF.
  • All submissions will receive feedback
