Exercise Jackal Stone is an annual U.S. SOF-focused exercise. It was most recently held between June 5 - 13, 2017, throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. Part of the U.S. European Command's Joint Training and Exercise Program, Jackal Stone is designed to enhance joint, combined interoperability with Allied and partner nations.

This year's exercise used a realistic threat scenario to develop interoperability among U.S. security forces and their BiH counterparts. Training opportunities for exercise participants included interdiction operations, sensitive site exploitation, rule of law, assault and contingency operations, lifesaving first-aid procedures, and convoy operations.

Jackal Stone '17 illustrated the ability of military, civil, and government agencies from the United States and Bosnia and Herzegovina to work together to achieve common goals in the interest of security, stability, and peace.
