Global Synchronization Conference

MISSION

Under the Unified Campaign Plan, the Commander of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is responsible for synchronizing planning for global operations against terrorist networks, in coordination with other combatant commands, the Services, and appropriate U.S. government agencies.

VENUES

Multiple venues exist for United States government agencies, industry, academia and partner nations to synchronize whole-of-government efforts in time, space and purpose. Of note, the Global Synchronization Conference (GSC) is a bi-annual conference hosted by USSOCOM on behalf of the Department of Defense to coordinate and synchronize collaborative network activities to combat the threat of transnational terrorism. While the global synchronization process occurs throughout the year, the GSC takes place every spring and fall at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.
